Finally, Nigeria's Dream Team arrives Brazil
The Nigerian team reportedly arrived Manaus at about 7:30pm Nigerian time, hours to its first match of the tournament.
The Nigerian U-23 team has finally arrived Manaus, Brazil, for the Rio 2016 Olympics after being stranded at the Atlanta airport for hours.
According to The Cable, a Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) official said the team arrived at about 7:30pm Nigerian time.
The NFF later released photos of the team's arrival on Twitter, showing the captain, John Obi Mikel and other players in a seemingly happy mood.
Nigeria will face Japan in its first match of the tournament at 2 am Nigerian time on Friday, August 5.
