Kenya's Abraham Kiptum wins Lagos City marathon for the second time

Kenya’s Abraham Kiptum has emerged winner of the 2017 Access Bank Lagos City Marathon and will be going home with the cash prize of $50,000.

10.00am Report reaching us has it that a 7-year-old, Damilola Oluwaseyi, just completed the marathon.
Damilola Oluwaseun, 7, crosses the finish line at Lagos city marathon.
9.40am Fadeyi, the first Nigerian woman, has crossed the finish line.
9.30am Rodah Tanuyi from Kenya is the first lady to cross the finish line.
9.15am Ilya Pam Nwanta is the first Nigerian to finish the race and he will be going home with N1million.

Nwanta crossed the finish line before Philip Sharabutu who was the second Nigerian to finish the race. Sharabutu had finished as the first Nigerian in the Lagos city marathon maiden edition last year.
