Bolivia Defender Yasmani Duk Explains Why He Brutalized Neymar… OMG!! See His Shocking Reason!

“Neymar was being a bit too cocky”
Bolivian defender Yasmani Duk plays for the New York Cosmos in America’s second division, the NASL.

It seems likely that Duk will never become more famous than he is right now, as a 28-year-old who spent the majority of his career in Bolivia.

On Thursday night, Duk absolutely battered Neymar, after the Brazilian attempted to put the ball through his legs.

In the aftermath of Brazil’s 5-0 win over Bolivia and the bloody injury sustained by Neymar from Duk’s elbow, you would have thought an apology or some admission of guilt would have been the order of the day.
“He’s got to stop this ‘Charlie Big Bollocks’ behaviour”

Instead, Duk has come out swinging in the Bolivian press, as explained in AS.

Duk said: “Neymar was being a bit too cocky – he was like that with all of us throughout the game, but all I was trying to do was cut off a move – which is what happens in football. Everyone knows the sport has its physical side – I had my nose broken and no one says a word.”

The Bolivian also gave some advice to Neymar: “To become the best player in the world, he’s got to stop this ‘Charlie Big Bollocks’ behaviour and start showing some respect for his opponents”.

Essentially, it feels like Duk believes Neymar’s skills are not what “happens in football”.

Meanwhile, Neymar took to Instagram to play down the injury.

He posted the following (translated) message: “Too happy for yesterday’s victory, congratulations guys .. every day we are growing together !! Oh … and the injury, that was nothing only a light scar”.
